Carol Nadell has been a respected member of the acting community for over 25 years, both as a performer and as a casting director. Casting was a natural progression from an acting career which spanned 17 years and encompassed appearances on the Broadway stage, television, films and commercials. She has served as Artist-in-Residence at Princeton University and was involved with the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she served as Special Advisor to the Academy company. Along with her specialty in casting for the industrial industry, she is often called upon to act as a casting consultant for numerous theatre projects and independent films. This is due to her love and knowledge of theatre and actors. She is a member of New York Women in Film and Television and a former Vice-President and member of the International Television Association, now known as the Media Communications Association International. She is also a trustee at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Lena Kaminsky (Associate Casting Director) is an actress with a love and extraordinary talent for both acting and casting. Over the last several years, Lena has been able to balance a successful professional acting career with her work at Selective Casting. Her experience of being on both sides of the casting call has given her enormous insights into the business as a whole -- and gives her true understanding and empathy for the challenges actors face -- especially at auditions. And because, as an actor, she is constantly meeting new talent at auditions and jobs, she has become a huge resource for bringing new, exciting talent to Selective's attention. Lena, a graduate of Emerson College, has also led workshops on The Business of Acting - specifically for young actors just beginning their journey. She and Carol share a great respect for the business, actors and the casting process.
